Full swing...

This weekend we are celebrating Kevin's second week of being back in school and my third. School is definitely back in full swing for the both of us but oh how we love this time of year! Football season has started, the mountains are starting to turn red, yellow, and orange, and we are enjoying the cooler weather!

Here's a quick look at my room this year. It was so nice to leave so much up over the summer and this second year is already so much easier. I love my new, darling students, and adore seeing my old students when they come and visit each day!

I was lucky enough to have the best bunch of friends while being at BYU, and as the summer ends, and friends of mine are moving on to bigger and better things, I can't help but think of all of the fun we've had over the last four years...

I'm so excited for these moms, [in just a few weeks! :) ] the Boston PA student, the UCF PT student, the grad student, [within the year] and the missionary! I've been well taken care of these past few years and I feel like a proud mom thinking of all they have accomplished and will accomplish. I'm looking forward to a very sweet reunion in the near future! Provo misses you... and I miss you more! Best of luck in all of these new adventures!

Summer 2012

Today was the first official day back at school for all teachers in my district! Summer vacation is one of my favorite perks of being a teacher and we cannot believe the summer has come and gone already! We have had a WONDERFUL summer filled with fun trips, time spent with family and friends, reunions, sun, and relaxation! Though we are sad summer has come to an end, we are excited for this upcoming fall with the weather change, BYU football, fall festivities and treats, a new and FINAL school year for Kevin, and another great year for me at Westside Elementary! Here's a quick recap of all the fun we've had this summer!
