Sweet Summertime

Our summer is over but we can't help but reminisce over all the fun we've had. We got to see both sides of the family, spend time with great friends, and of course indulge in everything delicious Houston has to offer! Farewell summer, hello fall! 

Sprinkled with Love

A few weeks ago, a friend and I threw a baby shower for our friend, Heidi! We may have gone a little overboard with the sprinkles, but truly we couldn't be more excited to "sprinkle baby Zoey with love!"

Nichols in Houston

My brother Matt and his adorable family came out the week of the 4th and we had the best time with them! We were able to pack in a lot and show them all around our city. We did an Astros game, Pappacitos, Top Golf, National Science Museum, Torchy's, Children's Museum, NASA, Kemah boardwalk, and almost the Frozen Sing-A-Long at Miller Outdoor Theatre. (Everyone in Houston apparently had our same idea and came out for it.) The weather was perfect... Our Houston scattered thunderstorms kept the temps down hopefully convincing Matt & Rachel that summers here are bearable! ;) We tried our best to sell this place to them, but regardless we love living just a days drive away. We loved spending time with Emily and Whitney and can't wait to see those cute girls next month. Thanks for coming out Nichols Fam! {picture overload to follow}
