Thanksgiving 2014

This Thanksgiving, we had the pleasure of having Kevin's parents come visit us. We had the best weekend eating, shopping, and exploring. Our time is never long enough, but we loved every second and are looking forward to their next visit! Thanks, Bill & Gale! We love you!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast at the Westin.

Spent some time on Galveston Island at Moody Gardens.

Festival of Lights

Some Texas BBQ at Rudy's

Brazos Bend with the gators

Snakes and baby gators

We were in a Nativity that friends in our Ward put on. Kevin was the best Roman soldier I've ever seen! ;) They do a phenomenal job putting it on and we loved being a part of it.

We are missing you two already!

Friendsgiving

We I hosted a little scarf exchange in honor of my new favorite tradition, Friendsgiving. We ate, exchanged scarves, and enjoyed each other's company. I have the best group of women around me and I feel so grateful everyday for their friendship. We missed all of you that couldn't make it! Until next year! Happy Friendsgiving!

Couch, Party of THREE!

We are so excited for our little BOY coming in March! It is hard to believe we are more than halfway through this pregnancy. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how wonderful Kevin is and has been as I've been "out of commission" for the first few months. I'm so excited to have my two boys around the house and we couldn't be more thrilled for what's ahead. (Kevin being especially excited for a football buddy.)

We sent cards to baby Couch's cousins letting them know he is on the way.

My heart melts every kick, cramp, and glance at this sweet little face.

Dallas

Last weekend we drove up to Dallas for my cute cousin, Michala's last drill team performance at their playoff football game. We loved seeing her in her sparkle captain hat dance the night away. Despite it being so cold, we had the best time catching up with Rich and being impressed by Mckinney's team who pulled out a win in overtime. We spent the next day exploring Dallas and tiny Itasca where some of Kevin's family is buried. It was really neat to see where some of the Jamison family comes from.
It was a quick trip, but we're looking forward to our next Dallas trip and hoping it lasts a little longer!

Roundtop Antique Market

Last month we roadtripped with the Su'as over to Roundtop, Texas for the huge antique market. We had the best time with Rachel's sister and cute family picking up some fun pieces for their new home. They had everything from real antiques to handmade crafts and gorgeous custom furniture. I can't wait to go back and buy things to furnish a home. We ate some famous Piehaven pie and loved every second of wandering around the different tents. Until spring, Roundtop!

We all decided we need a scoreboard in our home... One day we will follow through!
