Best of Luck

I was lucky enough to have the best bunch of friends while being at BYU, and as the summer ends, and friends of mine are moving on to bigger and better things, I can't help but think of all of the fun we've had over the last four years...

I'm so excited for these moms, [in just a few weeks! :) ] the Boston PA student, the UCF PT student, the grad student, [within the year] and the missionary! I've been well taken care of these past few years and I feel like a proud mom thinking of all they have accomplished and will accomplish. I'm looking forward to a very sweet reunion in the near future! Provo misses you... and I miss you more! Best of luck in all of these new adventures!

Summer 2012

Today was the first official day back at school for all teachers in my district! Summer vacation is one of my favorite perks of being a teacher and we cannot believe the summer has come and gone already! We have had a WONDERFUL summer filled with fun trips, time spent with family and friends, reunions, sun, and relaxation! Though we are sad summer has come to an end, we are excited for this upcoming fall with the weather change, BYU football, fall festivities and treats, a new and FINAL school year for Kevin, and another great year for me at Westside Elementary! Here's a quick recap of all the fun we've had this summer!

Las Vegas Getaway

We kicked off our Couch summer vacation tradition by making a quick trip to Las Vegas before school starts up! It was the perfect weekend to relax, recharge, and eat delicious food! We stayed at the Tropicana Resort which I was pretty excited about since Dancing with the Stars was being filmed there. We squeezed in everything we possibly could and deemed this first summer tradition of ours a success!

 We walked the strip for the full Vegas experience. I unfortunately wore wedges [I thought the strip was much shorter Haha] and was struggling by the end of the night, so Kevin kindly suggested we hit up the tram on the way back. Kevin was a trooper being seen with me once I resorted to a full lean on him as we walked the strip. Haha We went to M&M world and enjoyed a 3D movie...

A dream come true... Serendipity! 

 Kevin has wanted that Nike, Olympic jacket ever since we saw the U.S. athletes wearing them. We stopped off at the Nike in Ceasars Palace to take a look. [So funny that the reflective-ness made the picture turn out this way] It looked really good on him unfortunately the $450 price tag made it difficult to fit our budget.

KA! We absolutely loved the show! We had the absolute best seats in the whole place and were so impressed with the show. This is a must see for sure!
